The Town of Stony Point Building and Grounds Department, also known as the Parks Department, are the caretakers of the many parks and buildings in town.  This includes snow removal, lawn maintenance, flower and plant installation, as well as major and minor building repairs.    In addition, the Building and Grounds department are responsible for the maintenance and repair of vehicles and machinery used by town departments including police, building department, town hall and sewer as well as their own trucks and machinery. 

In addition to the above, the Building and Grounds crews are responsible for the installation and maintenance of the veterans banners and holiday decorations.  They contribute to the set up and break down of equipment and supplies for all of our community events including parades, holiday events, concerts and PAL events.  They support our local food pantries by assisting in the delivery of food on a monthly basis.  They also operate and maintain our town pools at Bulsontown Road and Charles Eccher/Lowland Park.
